I had a conversation with my grandson. He said, "Did you know God and Santa made this world?"
I said well yeah... that's why it's so magical. Seeing the world through the eyes of children is so important.
I learned this secret long before he came into the world.
Children are born with confidence, happiness, and unconditional love.
Some children are born into unfortunate circumstances where they are robbed of these beautiful traits from abuse or just being raised by cynical people.
Some adults just lose their childlike characteristics by listening to other cynical outlets, and this world has many.
I was one of those children robbed of many wonderful traits by the experiences of abuse and trauma for many years during my childhood. I also had to grow up pretty quickly being the ears and voice for my deaf parents. It's a cold world without a childlike view.
Through many years of studying self-help techniques, I learned the secret that a childlike heart and veiw is one of the most important if not THE most important trait to regain to heal and be happy.
I started to turn the world that most tune into off. The news, the aggressive, hurtful, negative unkind people or situations. I turned it off. You may say do you stick your head in yhe sand? Well kind of yes. I do know of these things going on.
When I come into contact of a victim of these circumstances I help them, but I do not go around focusing on the bad, or talking anout all the negative things going on in the world.
That does nothing productive or helpful for the situations on hand. If there is nothing you can do about it what good does complaining about it do?
If you can't do anything about it... shut it off. Focus on the wonderful things in life like children do. Do more of the things that bring you joy. There's absolutely no reason you can't.
You can create the world you desire if you believe.
There's magic out there, go find it.
