My name is Shirley Buck, and the work I do is deeply personal to me.

For much of my life, I carried the effects of abuse and trauma in quiet ways. They shaped how I saw myself, how I showed up in relationships, and how safe I felt in my own skin. For a long time, I did not even realize how much of my life was being guided by patterns formed in survival.

My healing did not come from reliving every painful memory. It came from learning how to gently shift the beliefs I held about myself and the ways my body learned to protect me. As my relationship with myself changed, so did everything else. My confidence. My boundaries. My sense of peace.
That experience is what led me to this work.

Today, as a Transformational Healing Coach, I support others in doing the same. I help people slow down, listen inward, and begin to understand the emotional patterns and beliefs that no longer serve them. Together, we create space for self trust, clarity, and a deeper sense of safety within.

I am also the author of Sweet Freedom Whispered in My Ear, a memoir that reflects the resilience of the human spirit and the possibility of healing beyond adversity. At its heart is the same message that guides my work. Freedom begins within.

My purpose is to walk beside those who are ready to move from surviving to truly living.
Healing is not about fixing what is broken. It is about remembering who you are beneath everything you have carried.
If something here speaks to you, I invite you to trust that pull. You do not need to have everything figured out. Sometimes the first step is simply allowing yourself to be supported.
